talw.media LLC is a one-founder product company. We build PRISM — a professional creation-and-publication tool for working filmmakers — plus a small set of free production utilities.

There is no agency here, no client roster, no services menu. There is a founder who spent his career in post-production, a tool built out of that career, and one discipline that governs both: the screenplay is the focus, the metadata does the heavy lifting, and the writer stays in the driver's seat.

The Founder: Talmage Williams

Talmage spent his career in post-production — the stage of filmmaking where every undocumented decision comes back to collect. PRISM is the system he wished he'd had: a production's knowledge — characters, locations, scenes, revisions — kept alive and connected to the screenplay instead of dying in folders.

Before founding talw.media, he mentored hundreds of filmmakers as the primary post-production instructor at Colorado Film School, led post-production for Amazon's training media through Talking Heads, and served as post lead on feature and award-winning short projects. Years of stewarding other people's footage taught him the lesson PRISM is built on: a production is only as recoverable as its metadata.
